Yada: To perceive, understand, acquire knowledge, know, discern, to be known, make oneself known to be familiar, to distinguish
Dear Sisters,
All women are welcome to join us. It is very informal. The Yada Prayer Groups have been meeting for about 3 years now with wonderful results. We meet twice a month and pray for each other, our friends, families, schools, and any concerns that we have. God continues to answer our prayers and bless us in many ways; although not always in the way that we expected. We would like to pray for others in the community.
There will be prayer request cards in the pews. If you have a care or concern, anything you would like us to pray for, please fill out a card and put it in the offering plate or in the basket in the Auditorium. You can sign your name or make an anonymous request. We will pray for you at our prayer meetings. Feel free to call the church office at 929-8849, if you have any questions or immediate prayer needs.
Please know while you are waiting for an answer:
- Anything that we pray for stays between us and God.
- God answers prayers in His time, not ours
- His answer can be yes, no or maybe
- When His answer is no, he has something better for you
- Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers.
