Sunday School is held during the10:15am service restarting on Sep 13th, 2009
Infants and toddlers may be brought to the Nursery in the West Wing before 10:15 am; otherwise they and older children go into the Sanctuary for the first 20 minutes and Worship with their families. Many of the children come forward after the second hymn for the Children's Sermon, and then are dismissed to their Sunday School, or Nursery class.
Kindergarten - 5th grade Sunday School uses Gospel Light curriculum, which presents the message of God's love in a language elementary students can understand with memorable activities that will have a lasting impact on them. Children are separated into the following classes:
(Kindergarten) (1st & 2nd grade) (3rd & 4th grade) (5th grade)
6th & 7th grade middle schoolers will attend an in-depth Bible study in a classroom setting, this year concentrating on the New Testament.
8th graders & 9th grade confirmation class (along with older teens) will explore, in various ways, their relationship with God and how this relationship impacts their daily lives.
9th graders, who are preparing for their Confirmation, will be required to attend a Sunday evening series taught by the Pastor.
